I’ve found some really good tasting recipes at http://www.lowglycemicrecipes.net They have breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. And they’re always adding new ones. They list carb amount, calories, fat, fiber content, Glycemic Index (GI), Glyco Load (GL). I haven’t seen any other sites that offer the GI and GL together in their recipes. Good site if you’re looking for new ideas and good info.

Great post. You know, diabetes is such an enigma. Scientists struggle to find out what causes diabetes in the first place, and how to properly treat it.
Is it curable or reversible? I truly believe that it is. With proper diet modification (namely following a strict low carbohydrate diet) can minimize amost all adverse effects causes by this disease.
The problem is that most people just don’t have the discipline needed to make these changes. Instead, they’d rather take the easier way out and just get medicated.

Thanks for letting me know that not all fats are bad. I have been trying to cut it out of my diet. But I discovered that I get fatigue easily.
There is so much misinformation out there and thanks for people like you that gives us the facts.
